Genesis 1:27-28
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

God gave us animals to enjoy and we are commanded to care for them.  The word dominion means to care.  We have cared for one special little animal for almost a year now, but her birthday is today.

We are celebrating our Molly!

Here she is last November when she was 7 weeks old.  This was the night we got her.

Here she was this morning.  She has grown much physically, but more than that she has grown in our hearts.
 She makes us laugh.

She has aggravated us with her silly self getting into the trash and spreading it all over the yard.

Steve has realized he doesn't have many old shoes because she has chewed on most of them.

But our life is richer for it.

She hugs us.  Literally.

She chases her tail, which is hysterical to watch.

She loves it when her "Peeps" get home from school or work.  She greets us each time.

She is so "tough" to protect us from danger.

She would love a stranger to death.

She's our Molly....

Happy One Year Birthday sweet girl!

Happy Birthday to Molly! :) She is one pretty girl!

And Congrats on taking the pictures for the wedding! That is awesome, and you will do an amazing job!!! You have such a gift, not only with taking such good, crystal clear pictures, but with your keen eye in which you capture things! "You see the beauty in beauty, and capture and convey it beautifully!" Does that make sense??? :) Your pictures tell a story!

Hope you will be sharing some of the special day soon!

Our little "vaca" was wonderful! We went to Gatlinburg, TN, with a group of Senior Adults from our church, to a conference. We, of course, aren't quite that old, lol, but I'm on the Senior Adult Team that helps plan event and gatherings for the group. The fellowship was great and the atmosphere and surroundings great! The leaves were just beginning to turn a little, but it was still nice to visit the mountains! :)

I'll share some pictures later in a post. Wish I had your photography skills! I didn't do them justice! :)
