We are on Easter break this week. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. I may be more excited than the children.... well, maybe not, but I'm pretty tickled indeed.

Back to Charleston for a while. :)

Here are some stocks that are outside of the oldest building in Charleston. In fact, if I remember correctly, this building is the second oldest in our nation. It was the place where gunpowder was stored when Charleston was a small settlement. It is the only thing left from the original settlement called Charles Town.


A drawing of the former walled city of Charles Town. We were able to watch an actor portray one of the pirates who was hanged for piracy in Charleston in the 1700's. Let's just say he did a great job to be a one man show. :)

The house that is near this building is selling for over a million dollars if that gives you any idea of how high the cost of living is in downtown Charleston. That is pocket change to us so I think Steve and I will go on down there and buy that house.
