Welcome to the Mayflower.... well, the Mayflower II.

I loved climbing aboard this vessel since I teach this to my students and the kids have a chance to get in the "MayFowler"....

It was definitely a small boat for 104 "Pilgrims" and then the crew on top of that.
I took a lot more pics below deck, but this gives you a glimpse as to how small it was under there.

Need to mop the deck? Here is what you could use....

Views of the beauty of lines you see when you look up around the boat.

Mikayla enjoyed chatting with one of the young ladies on deck who was "from 1620...."

We are hot and took a rest before heading off to see something else. Notice that Mikayla's sunglasses are on her head in the above picture, but not in the one below. She left her glasses somewhere on the Mayflower. I'm sure those Pilgrims wondered what in the world those things were... hee hee.
Funny for today:
Wesley: "Mom, what is a cannonball?"

Me: "Well, it is what is shot out of a cannon."

Wes: "No, Mom, you know... those people who live on islands and worship other stuff...."

Me: "OH... you mean a CANNIBAL?"....

The things that boy thinks about crack me up.
