Today there are no icicle pictures....

Just pictures of our girl.
She had her piano recital today.
This year she got to be up on a stage... with a bright light on her.

She was beyond excited. She seems to love to perform and doesn't get really nervous.
She played The Merry Widow Waltz.

This is her awesome piano teacher.

She hinted a lot that flowers would be SO exciting to get again this year after she performed. We made sure she got some. :)

We are proud of our girl and the talent the Lord has given her. We look forward to what she will learn in the coming year.

I am so proud! Keep up the good work! You will soon be able to play for all your mom's 2nd grade plays and for church! What a blessing, sweet girl! You looked beautiful!

I remember recital days. How fun! I dont' recall ever getting flowers, but our piano teacher's husband always made homemade doughnuts for the reception after and there was always a little write-up in the paper with all our names listed.

Way to go, Mikayla :)
