"Yellow Bell" bloom
Here is a game the African Americans played at Old Salem. It is called Carrom and is a combination of checkers and pool.
You use the white "circle" like you would a white ball on a pool table. I would like to know more about the game.... we were about to start a tour so I didn't get the full information. Plus, I was a little too consumed with capturing this in photograph. Hmmm... shocking, isn't it?
Since I am on Spring Break I am taking a break today from my musings. Instead, I encourage you to read this blog. I stumbled upon it from another blog I was reading yesterday. What she posted was awesome and got me thinking on some things. Hope you read and enjoy!
