On our Lighthouse tour around Bar Harbor we were able to see a Bald Eagle from a distance. It was neat to see our national bird in a natural surrounding. I realize it was far away, but still exciting! It is one majestic bird....

Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Kind of hard to believe Ben Franklin wanted the turkey as our national bird, isn't it? lol Some Native American tribes thought the turkey was a cowardly bird and wouldn't even kill it to eat it because they thought they would become cowardly. They just didn't realize the good eating they were missing. lol

Glad our forefathers chose the Bald Eagle. :)
