It is Friday.It has been a long week.
I am wondering if there is a full moon, but I know it isn't because we saw it last week. Maybe it is the wind? Hmm...no, there is wind but not that much.
My class got to be "cells" today for a Fitness activity. There were some that were red blood cells, some that were viruses attacking those blood cells and others who were white blood cells "saving the day." They had a blast. It was comical to watch. I loved it.
They also got to be a "human digestive tract".... sounds exciting, doesn't it? To be quite honest, it is fun. They didn't want to stop. It is fun "chewing" up your classmates, tossing them into the throat, squishing them down into the stomach, rolling them around into chyme (do ya need to look up that word????), sending them into the small and large intestines and then out into "waste land." Yeah... the ending always gets them giggling.
Oh well.... I am sure there are all kinds of stories from second graders to their parents tonight.
Maybe we'll play again next week.
After I have had some rest. :)
