01/03/11

Went back to school till noon today. Was VERY ready to go home when I left. We'll see what tomorrow holds. :)

I took this picture walking up to Mom and Dad's house the day it snowed. You'll be seeing lots of pics from around our house in the coming weeks. Hope you like icicles!

I never got to show the snowman pictures.... full effect from our snow last week so I thought I'd show them today.

Steve and Wesley worked on the body. Mikayla did a little bit...
Me? I was walking around photographing snow and icicles. Shocking, I know.

Here he is in grand glory before anything was added. We really could have made him bigger, but Steve had worked all night with snowplow contractors and had not had much sleep. We were just happy he was outside with us for a little bit. Molly was already loving on Mr. Snowman.

Wesley made him a broom and Steve was trying to work on his face.

He is such a cutie. Mikayla did his buttons of red berries, I found his nose and Steve found his eyes. It was a group effort here.

Me and Mikayla Girl

I know you saw this picture last week.

Here he is the next day. Our snow did not stick around, which for us southern people is a good thing. We love us some snow but we aren't used to dealing with it for very long! Molly had enjoyed Mr. Snowman.... a lot.

Molly had removed his mouth, taken off his right side "arm" and chewed it, and also chewed off most of his nose. The hat and scarf also became her play toys.

Closeup of poor Mr. Snowman...

We just like to think of it that Molly showed affection to her new friend the only way she knew how. lol I am sure she has been wondering where he went!

I'm glad you're on the mend...sent you a chat the other day on FB but I think you must have already stepped away. I was checkin' on the patient!

Pics are fantastic, but do pray tell....what are the plastic Walmart bags near Wesley's boots? That's the $64K question for today.

By the way...lovin' your blog! ;p

So jealous of the snow. We have seen a little, but nothing stuck. No snowmen seen in these here parts as of yet.

Love the pictures.
